Original post-war 1949 Pattern British Battledress blouse and trousers used by the British Army in the early Cold War period.

 

The wool battledress blouse features two pleated chest pockets, shoulder epaulettes, and an adjustable waist belt. Interior size marking 40 present. The matching trousers have brace buttons, waist adjusters, and a field dressing pocket.

 

The interior label on the trousers is dated 1951, manufactured by Numby & Son Ltd., with a period name tag for N. M. Prescott.

 

Condition: Good vintage condition with typical wear, light marks, and minor loose threads. A solid original example of post-WWII British military battledress.
