Original U.S. VB Rifle Grenade Launcher Pouch – 1920 Dated (RIA)

Authentic early post–World War I U.S. military VB grenade launcher pouch, manufactured at Rock Island Arsenal and clearly stamped “RIA 3-20” under the flap. These pouches were designed to carry components for the French-developed Viven-Bessières rifle grenade launcher system, widely adopted by U.S. forces late in the war and retained into the early interwar period.

Constructed of heavy khaki canvas, this example features a lift-the-dot style snap closure, reinforced stitching, and rear wire belt hooks for attachment to standard web gear. The elongated form is characteristic of VB launcher accessories, built for secure and practical field use.
