Original WWII Imperial Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, 7th Class, complete with its original black lacquer presentation case. Established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji, the Order of the Rising Sun was one of Japan’s most important decorations, awarded to military personnel and civilians for distinguished service.

The medal features the distinctive paulownia leaf design with green enamel and red blossoms, suspended from its original red and white ribbon. The reverse bears Japanese characters, and the decoration is housed in its original black lacquer case with gold Japanese script and a purple velvet interior.

A well-preserved cased Imperial Japanese decoration from the World War II era, making it a great addition for collectors of Japanese militaria or WWII awards.
