Original Imperial German officer shoulder board from the Imperial German Army, dating to the period of World War I. The board features the classic silver officer bullion cord construction with light blue branch piping, indicating service with the Train (transport/logistics) troops.
The reverse retains its dark green cloth backing and original attachment loop, used for securing the board to the shoulder of a wartime field tunic such as the M1910 Feldrock. The piece shows honest period wear consistent with age and service.
